Ben’s Mattress & Furniture is an Atlanta retailer that provides affordable mattresses and bedroom furniture at numerous store locations and online. Ben’s is an ideal success story, as the client utilized the majority of our development and digital marketing services. The initial client strategy consisted of a bolstered SEO campaign paired with email automation and building a more substantial social media presence. After reaching a high-water mark in SEO rankings, we shifted focus to designing and developing a new website, featuring premier UX/UI design and effective eCommerce capabilities. The already intact SEO strategy partnered with an updated and optimized website led to Ben’s ranking 3rd on google in organic search queries for “affordable mattress.”

Digital Marketing Strategy In The Retail Market

SEO Strategy for Mattress & Furniture Retailer

The initial strategy implemented in this campaign was centered around SEO and building a stronger social media presence. In addition to completing various on-page optimization tasks and removing various site errors, we helped generate custom on-page content based on intensive keyword research in order to increase user traffic.

Social Media for Retail Stores

A key goal in this project was to expand the social media presence of the brand as a whole, in addition to the individual stores across the region. By regularly creating custom graphics, posts and implementing a page like campaign, we were able to grow to the audience by “x” amount over “x’ years. Since “x” date, “x” amount of sales have been directly linked to social media efforts.

Email Marketing Strategy for Retailers

After experiencing significantly improved SEO rankings, we shifted focus to improving on an already established email marketing list. By creating a custom pop-up serving as a lead capture form, we funneled new users to a pre-existing email campaign list, while also adding them to an individual campaign with a strong sales focus. Our lead capture form generates almost 300 new users to the email list per month.

After achieving considerable results based on digital marketing efforts, our development team set out to build a new website with an emphasis on premier user experience, e-commerce efficiency, and increased sales generation.

The new website delivers an extensive user experience, including a customized online comfort test, interactive store location maps, and secure online purchasing. Despite these exceptional design features, the site still achieves an A+ score concerning page-speed, further boosting its ranking on Google.

Ben's is always providing value to its customers and provides sales on a routine basis.  Because of this, we needed a way to reach a wide audience that would be interested in these great deals.

Using Facebook Adverts, we have built hundreds of different audience pools to be able to pinpoint the exact types of users where each sale would appeal most.  While maintaining brand awareness is key with this campaign, driving conversions is also a main priority.  Seeing as we want to drive sales both online and in stores, we devised separate campaigns that would either send users to a product page or a location page to get directions to the closest store.

Ben's Facebook campaigns have been successful because we have kept our audience pools fresh and used unique ad copy and eye-catching graphics for each ad within our ad sets.  Take a look at some of the metrics we've achieved since inception in March of 2017.
